dear channing,
didn´t call you silly names, don´t worry. was just wondering why you relate normal Austrian guys to the term „nazi“? didn´t make sense to me. I was just asking them whether they knew that you called them NAZIs and I wanted to know what they did in order to make you use such a…let´s call it a nickname. WW II is long time gone. The weird thing is I don´t speak Japanese…
so, calm down, I don´t dare talking rubbish about strangers. Wish you a nice day, stranger.
Haha. I was just joking around when I said Nazi to them. When I first met them I noticed that they were speaking German, so I asked, „Are you guys German?“ to which they jokingly replied, „Don’t insult us, we are Austrian.“ We also talked about the video game Wolfenstein, which we all played.
I understand that there are no Nazis and WWII is over. Americans aren’t all like George Bush. I was just wondering what you said, because I only speak a few words of German.
OK. thx for telling me the whole story. That´s actually what I wanted to hear from them. But they tend to ignore me haha. well, u know we european guys usually react kinda shocked to the term, at least the countries involved. but i know, it´s usually the first thing everybody thinks about when hearing the German language. it´s quite natural, actually. it´s like I think of bush when I hear texas…doesn´t naturally need to be „gosh, all the guys from texas are jackasses“. there´s only one jackass I would refer to.
concerning german – well, it´s anyway much better to speak japanese. there is no need to understand us, we are taking shit anyway most of the time…but I guess you figured this out already – you met the guys well, you´ll see, maybe u come to austria once to visit this people and then you´ll decide to learn German. take your japanese girlfriend with u, because people from japan usually love mozart
all the best, inga
My girlfriend actually speaks a little German and LOVES the German language. I also want to see all of the old buildings in Europe. So, I would hope to go see Vienna someday.
that´s great. well, then u should come around. I dunno, isn´t it even easier to get into Europe for u then for us getting to the US? I must confess, haven´t been to the states so far but I´ve got the feeling that it´s rather expensive – Visum, the flight and so on…I thought about going there over the summer holidays once as a nanny. I suppose that´s the only affordable way for me- working and travelling.
And what do you do in the small suburb of Detroit? studying? going to school? working?
greez
I go to school (studying Japanese) and have been working at said Pizza Hut for almost 4 years. There isn’t much to do around here, so there are a lot of boring days.
I love Pizza Hut, have been there a few times during my stay in England. I love the ice cream factory. do you still offer that stuff?
well, guess what I am studying english at university. I am really fond of your language- that´s for sure.
do you know where the guys went to after detroit? did they tell you something about their plans?
I like English, I can speak to people all over the world. It is a very colorful language, and you can say so many things in so many ways. I think we probably have the most extensive list of slang curse words in the world. Like, we can say „Fuck that shit“, if we don’t like something. We swear too much. What do you intend to do after school?
They went to Niagara Falls in Canada, then they were going to Boston and New York. I haven’t heard anything from them though.
Well, I hope they´re fine. Suppose they didn´t have the possibility to go online so far.
English is great. Not just the curses, it´s the way you use French words and pronounce them so completely odd And the reason why I am studying English is American literature. I love American Drama. It´s so great. Well, after university – what will I do, good question. Suppose I wanna work in economics abroad. but still have some time to specialize. what do you plan to do?wanna go to japan or will she come to the US?

We never had ice cream at our Pizza Hut.
